I prepared a sweet and sour sauce, I boiled broccoli and then I found the flour and fried. I recently sauteed the vegetables, I added the sauce, and it was a great meal when I added the broccolies and bought them from the stove. I can even say, broccoli looked like the chicken, even more beautiful obviously, the decision is yours 🙂
Dish of broccoli with sweet sour sauce is a vegan meal. If you are vegan, it can be a great alternative for you.
Sesame oil is very suitable for Chinese food and is already used in the making of Chinese food. So I would definitely recommend it.
If you do with pineapple juice the recipe may sound too sweet because you can reduce the amount of sugar.
You can also cover the broccoli with cornmeal or breadcrumbs, I used whole wheat flour. If you can find coconut milk, it is more delicious if you dip the broccoli first into the milk and then into the flour.
You can also sprinkle oil with broccoli and bake in the oven.
You can also serve this dish with noodles. There will be very harmonious flavors.
For this broccoli recipe:
Sweet and Sour Sauce
- 4 tablespoons ketchup,
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 clove of garlic (grated)
- 2 tablespoons of honey or 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 cup of water or pineapple juice
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of corn starch
Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
- Half a pound of broccoli
- 1 medium green bell pepper
- 1 medium purple onion
- 1 red pepper
- 1 carrot
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- Oil (I fried broccoli in olive oil, sauteed vegetables with sesame oil)
- Spring onion
Clean the broccoli and separate it, like small flowers. Boil for 8-10 minutes.
Take 1 cup of flour into a bowl, mix the broccoli into the flour and fry until golden. (also happens in deep oil or oven)
Chop the vegetables square by frame. Chop the carrots into thin round or thin squares. Divide each pineapple into 12.
Take the broccolies from the frying pan and put them on a plate with paper towels or baking paper.
Heat the wok pan or the pan you are going to use. Add 4-5 tablespoons of sesame oil to the pan and sauté the vegetables without softening. Pour the sauce over the sauteed vegetables and cook to boil for 1-2 minutes. Then add the broccoli fries and mix.
Sprinkle finely chopped green onions on the dish after taking it to the plate.
It is ready to be served with noodles.
