Very easy and tasty dish of chicken with bechamel sauce in the oven. You can also serve your Chicken with Bechamel Sauce with rice dish.
Cheddar, which we added as an extra to bechamel sauce, will make the food more delicious.
- 750 g chicken breast (flaked or finely chopped)
- 3 red peppers
- 2 small or 1 large squash
- 2 carrots
- 2 potatoes
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 1 medium onion
- 1 teaspoon tomato paste
- 3 tablespoons of oil
- spice, salt
Preparation of Chicken with Bechamel Sauce:
Chop the chickens and vegetables into cubes. Make sure the dimensions are close to each other.
Put the oil in a deep pan and heat it, then add the potatoes. When the potatoes start to fry slightly, add onions, carrots, squashes and red peppers and mix a little, then close the lid of the pan and cook them all until the vegetables are soft.
Then add the chicken and spices and cook until the chicken is light pink and finally add tomato and tomato paste, mix once more and reduce the heat and cook for 10-15 minutes.
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3.5 cups of milk
- 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon of coconuts (not mandatory)
- Grated cheddar or parmesan cheese
Put 4 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan and let stand until the oil begins to melt over medium heat.
When the butter begins to melt, reduce the heat, add the flour and fry until the flour changes slightly.
Add slowly milk to the roasted flour and whisk the mixture during this process.
After adding the whole milk, continue to stir, add salt, coconut(not mandatory) and 1 cup of grated cheddar and cook over low heat for 3-4 minutes.
Spread the sauteed chicken on pyrex or baking tray and pour the bechamel sauce over chicken. If you are going to use Parmesan, first sprinkle the parmesan on the bechamel sauce, then sprinkle with grated cheddar and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Let rest for 10-15 minutes and then you can serve it!
